Hare: Fuk Stik

Well, it was a lovely day Sunday, but with rain mentioned in the
forcast when people started showing up around 2pm, at that Dinky little
park across the street from Timothy's, as suggestted by the day's hare,
Fuk Stik. In attendance were: THFKASchporto, Respect You In The
Mourning, Vasaline Alley, Just Marlene, Kojak Sack, Smells Like Hash
Spirit, Just Tom, Sleepyhead, Forgot Your Name In The Morning, He
Needed The Money, Bad Lay, Merry Fucking Poppins, Cums Early, Miracle
on Blue Street, Just Julie, and making a return after 6 years, Dumbass.
Additionally, Title 18 and Waterfoul were both there to see us off
before going to spend the day with their Mothers, and there was a
runner from Philly Hash who just wanted to get a run in, but wandered
off because by 2:30, we still were standing around, when lo and behold,
Fuk Stick arrived! Only to leave again to lay the Beer Checks. We
finally got moving just shy of 3 after he returned and took off to lay
the Eagle part of the trail, having allegedly laid the chicken earlier,
by heading across this tiny park, and immediately into the shiggy.
From there, we wander back in the woods a little bit, through the
backyard of someone who had apparently heard of Hashing before, and
then down the road up into White Clay, along the creek. Well, knowing
Fuk Stik, it was too much to hope he could go anywhere near a
free-flowing body of water without sending the trail across it. After
much discussion on if he would cross back or not, most of the pack
crossed, with Just Julie and myself staying back, because the water
would have been up to her waist, and she didn't have a dry-bag. As
we're wandering back, THFKASchporto comes running down the trail from
wherever he'd been, and upon being told where the trail crossed, showed
us the shallow spot to cross the creek, only up to mid-calf. Yay. So we
cross slowly after him, clamber up a muddy slope which I fell down
repeatedly, and then get back to the trail, only to find a check that
had been kicked in 3 different directions. 15 minutes of confusion
later, we hear some noise in the distance, see a couple half-marks, and
head in that general direction. Unfortunately end up on the wrong side
of some very serious shiggy, after Just Julie ended up getting hurt by
the nettles that freaked her out because she didn't know what got her.
so we go straight through. Painfully. Anyway, at this Beer Check, Julie
and I split the last beer, since the pack had apparently been there for
a while, Just as He Needed The Money drives up with Gatoraid, Water,
and First Aid. Unfortunately, a couple minutes behind him comes a
Ranger for a second visit, and sees him with a beer in hand that he was
relocating, so as the pack quickly melts away, Kojak and Hash Spirit
stay behind to make sure he's OK, which he is, apparently because the
Ranger's supervisor doesn't want to come out on a Sunday. The trail
then heads over past a reserviour to Paper Mill Road, up the hill to a
Church, and then vanishes. Eventually we head back down the hill, only
to find that the trail came back down the other side, and turns onto
Old Paper Mill Road, at which point we're all at "heck with this
invisible trail" and go to Timothy's, Rejoice in HNTM's continued
freedom, finally get Fuk Stik to join up with us, and then everyone
drives to Forgot Your Name and Mathmatical Impossibility's apartment
(who looked highly confused at the sudden influx of people) where
something resembling a circle occured. First and Last in were given to
Fuk Stik, for being the only one to make it to the on-in, as were
several other awards/penalties.
All In All, Another Shiggy and Wet Hash.
