Willie got the dance floor, dances it raw
Willie got the swing, he got the see-saw
Willie got the slide out on the floor
But Willie don't know what for

Willie got the guitar, got it in key
He got the keyboard, Hammond B-3
Willie got the notes placed in the sky
But no, Willie don't know why

          Willie don't need to understand
          Cause Willie is the leader of the band

Willie got the microphone up to his face
He got the groupies close enough to taste
Willie got the future behind him now

                    Don't try to tell Willie how many colors in the rainbow

Willie's on the radio -- comeback's down
Willie's on the TV -- "Where are they now"
You know he's got millions of fans who care
But Willie don't know where
