    Jamie Adams (LW)  6'-1", 175 lbs... b. Nov. 24, 1971 (Pittsburgh, PA.)
      The Pittsburgh native spent the bulk of the 1998-99 season with the Bakersfiled Condors of the WCHL, after starting the season with the WCHL's Alexandria Warthogs. Jamie has made the rounds of the minor leagues, having played in the ECHL, CHL, WCHL & WPHL.

    Martin Bergeron (C)
      Martin was drafted 99th overall in 1988 by the New York Rangers. A top-flight scorer in the QMJHL, he spent time in the "I", "A" and ECHL. He spent the 1997-98 season in Japan.

    Eric Brule (D)  5'-11", 190 lbs... b. Jan. 17, 1970 (Victoriaville, QUE.)
      Brule, a scoring defenseman out of the QMJHL and former property of the Pittsburgh Penguins, was up and down in 1998-99. He spent most of the season in the WPHL with the Abilene Aviators, but also appeared with the Michigan K-Wings and Long Beach Ice Dogs in the IHL. Brule has proven himself to be a very capable offensive defenseman, setting his career record for points this past season with Abilene (56).

    Trevor Buchanan (LW)  6'-1", 190 lbs... b. June 7, 1969 (Thompson, MAN.)
      A former draft pick of the Hartford Whalers (199th overall in 1989), Trevor spent the 1998-99 season with the WPHL champion Shreveport Mudbugs. Trevor's play with the Phantoms earned him an invite to the Penguins training camp the following season on a tryout contract, however he never did earn a regular contract. A power-forward, Trevor has collected 20+ goals and 200+ PIM in a season six times in eight pro seasons.

    Scott Burfoot (C)  5'-8", 170 lbs... b. Sept. 23, 1967 (Winnipeg, MAN.)
      "Burf" has proven himself to be a dependable, if not dynamic, scoring centerman. In 1995-96, Scott won the Colonial Hockey league championship with the Flint Generals. In 1998-99, he played for the UHL runner-up Quad City Mallards. For much of his tenure in the RHI, he was considered to be the best playmaker in the league. His route to pro hockey came from an unlikely beginning, Mercyhurst College.

        Bruce Coles (LW)  5'-9", 185 lbs... b. Dec. 6, 1968 (Montreal, QUE.)
          The graduate of R.P.I has seen his share of teams over the years, playing for ten different teams (11 if you count the Canadian National Team) in five different leagues since turing pro in 1991-92. His 1998-99 season was spent with four teams in three leagues.

        Brian Cook (C)  6'-2", 210 lbs... b. Jan. 2, 1969 (Waterloo, Iowa)
          Turing pro out of St. Cloud State University, Brian began his career with the ECHL's Louisville Icehawks.

        Kip Guenther (F)
          An alumnus of Kent State University.

        Alain Lemieux (C)  6', 185 lbs... b. May 24, 1961 (Montreal, QUE.)
          The older brother of Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux, Alain spent parts of six seasons in the NHL, including one game with the Pittsburgh Penguins, after being selected 96th in the 1980 Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues. Alain was named a QMJHL Second Team All-Star in 1980-81 with the Trois-Rivieres Draveurs after scoring 68 goals and 166 points. That season he led the QMJHL playoffs in assists (31 in 19 games) and points (49). He was also named an AHL Second Team All-Star in 1986-87 with the Baltimore Skipjacks. Now, during the 1999-2000 season, Alain is in his first year as head coach of the ECHL's Jacksonville Lizard Kings.

        Kevin Meisner (D)  6'-2", 215 lbs... b. Apr. 2, 1970 (Shawville QUE.)

          Alain Morrissette (G)  5'-10", 168 lbs... b. Aug. 26, 1969 (Rimouski, QUE.)
            Alain ranked 3rd in GAA (2.91) in the ECHL in 1995-96, and represented the Louisville Riverfogs at the All-Star Game. He spent time in one of the more unusual hockey locales in 1996-97, playing 15 games with HK Sportina Bled in Slovenia.

          Jim Peters (D)  6'-2", 190 lbs... b. June 11, 1969 (Barrie, ONT.)
            Jim patrolled the blueline for Lake Superior State University before turning pro.

            Jason Smith (D)  5'-10", 205 lbs... b. May 21, 1972 (Winnipeg, MAN.)

              Bryan Trottier (C)  5'-11", 195 lbs... b. July 17, 1956 (Val Marie, SASK.)
                Easily the most famous Phantom, and probably the most famous player in the RHI, Trottier had just finished up his final season in the NHL (playing 41 games with the Penguins) when he was asked to play for the Phantoms. "Trots" was drafted 22nd overall in 1974 by the New York Islanders and won six Stanley Cups in his career (4 with the Islanders & 2 with the Penguins). During his 18 year Hall of Fame career, he was known as one of the best two-way centers to ever have played the game. A recently elected Hall of Famer, Bryan is currently an assistant coach with the NHL's Colorado Avalanche.

              Erin Whitten (G)  5'-5", 135 lbs... b. Oct. 26, 1971 (Glens Falls, NY.)
                Erin has definitely made her mark on the sport of hockey. She was the first US born woman to play professional hockey (w/ the AHL's Adirondack Red Wings in Sept. 1993), the first woman of any nationality to be credited with a win in the pros (w/ the CHL's Dallas Freeze during the 1993-94 season), the first with a complete game victory and the first woman to play in the AHL, ECHL, CHL and Colonial HL. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Erin was the 1994 USA Hockey Women's Player of the Year. She was the starting goalie for the US Women's National Team for two World Championships (1992 & 1994).

              Jeff Whittle (F)  5'-9", 187 lbs... b. Mar. 23, 1971 (Toronto, ONT.)

                George Wilcox (C)  6', 200 lbs... b. Feb. 16, 1970 (Sept-Iles, QUE.)

                  Brock Woods (D)  6', 188 lbs... b. Apr. 20, 1971 (Belleville, ONT.)

                    Warren Young (C/RW)  6'-3", 195 lbs... b. Jan. 11, 1956 (Toronto, ONT.)
                      Warren was the assistant coach for the Phantoms before lacing up the wheels. A veteran of 236 NHL games, Warren made his mark as a rookie in 1984-85 scoring 40 goals for the Pittsburgh Penguins playing on the right side of fellow rookie Mario Lemieux. His (and Mario's) efforts got them both named to the NHL's All-Rookie Team. He was drafted 59th overall in 1976 by the California Golden Seals.
