Remote Editor functions very much like a combination of the Windows 3.1 file management system and a basic text editor. The browser shows you your file list. You can change
directories upward by double-clicking your mouse on the "..", or enter another folder by double-clicking it's name. Open a file by double-clicking as well. When you open a file, you'll be able to work with it just as if you were in notepad. Make sure you save your work! Common file commands are in the "File" menu.You can open as many files simultaneously as your computer's memory can handle. This is a great feature for copying and pasting code or comparing a file to something else you've written. |
